VIDEO - SATSANG IN HET ENGELS Op 28 mei 2009 gaf Swami een satsang speciaal voor deze website. Onze wereld, onze gedachten, onze geest wankelt. We hebben heel wat gehechtheden en verlangens. Onze geest is zoals een aap, springend van het ene naar het andere, zonder ophouden. Wat ik in de hedendaagse wereld wil bereiken is… De mensheid kent geen vrede, iedereen is gespannen, maakt zich zorgen, heeft problemen, ziekten, onnodige problemen. God heeft me een zekere buitengewone kracht gegeven. Ik gebruik deze kracht om iedereen te helpen, om te helpen bij hun spirituele ontwikkeling, om gemoedsrust te bekomen, om gelukkig te leven en te glimlachen. Iedereen moet glimlachen, ook binnenin. Je zou gelukkig moeten zijn – dat is het enige dat ik van je wil. Ik wil enkel je liefde en bhakti (toewijding), niets anders. Onze wereld en ons bezoek eraan is tijdelijk. De mens leeft voor 100, 80 of 75 jaar. Iedereen zal sterven. Onze geboorte is beslist een kort bezoek. Waarom raak je tijdens dit korte bezoek gespannen, waarom maak je je zorgen, waarom verspil je tijd? Ontvang mijn hulp en leef gelukkig. Je zou vreugdevol moeten leven, dan ben ik ook gelukkig. Ik ga nog maar een korte tijd leven. Ik zal ook sterven. Wat wil ik nog voor deze wereld doen voordat ik sterf? Nu heeft Sri Lanka problemen. Sri Lanka is mijn geboorteland, dus zou ik graag hebben dat de Sri Lankanen vrede en geluk kennen, dat de Tamils en Singalezen allen een gelukkig leven hebben. Niemand heeft de heerschappij over iets in deze wereld. Dit heersen, alles, is slechts van korte duur. Waarom heb je zo veel verlangens tijdens de korte periode dat je leeft op deze aarde? Je zou moeten denken dat wat je hebt, voldoende is. Als je problemen, zorgen, of een ziekte hebt, geef ze dan aan mij. Ik zal je genezen en je helpen. Ik ben klaar om je te helpen. Ik wil er niets voor terug. God heeft me alles voor niets gegeven, dus wil ik ook gratis geven. Dat is wat ik in deze wereld wil doen. Ik hoop dat iedereen gelukkig en in anandam(gelukzaligheid) kan leven. Je zal slechts een korte tijd leven, misschien 80 of 90 jaar. Neem niets gewichtig op. We have a lot of attachments and desires. Our mind is like a monkey, always jumping, without end. What I want in today’s world is… Mankind has no peace, everyone is tense, worried, has problems, diseases, unnecessary problems. God has given me some extra-ordinary power. I use that power to help everyone, to help them develop them in spirituality, to get peace of mind, to live happily and smile. Everybody must smile, also inside, you should be happy – that is the only thing I want from you. I only want your love and bhakti, nothing else. Our world and our visit to it are not permanent. Man lives for 100 years, 80 years or 75 years. Everyone is going to die. Our birth is definitely only a short visit. During this short visit, why do you get tense, why do you get worried, why are you wasting your time? Receive my help and live happily. You should live happily, then I am also happy. I am going to live for yet a short time. I am also going to die. What do I want to do for this world before I die? Now Sri Lanka has some problems. Sri Lanka is my birth country, so I would like the Sri Lankans to have peace and happiness, that the Tamils and Singhalese all live happy lives. Nobody rules anything in this world. This ruling, everything, is only for a short period. During this short period that you live on Earth, why do you have so many desires? You should think that what you have is enough. If you have any problems, any worries, or if you have some disease, hand them over to me. I will cure and help you. I am ready to help. I don’t want anything in return for that. God has given everything to me for free, so I also want to give for free. That is what I want to do in this world. I hope everybody will live happily and in anandam (bliss).
