All the media have written false things about Swamiji, they all did whatever they could to spoil Swami’s name, but there are still many devotees who believe in him. I went to the Sri Premananda Ashram last week for my birthday and Swami was there because he had five days leave. I could see that he didn’t even take five minutes rest. He gave many satsangs and talked to so many people who came to ask for his advice. Swami has many devotees from foreign countries, but I noticed during his leave that there were also many people from Tamil Nadu who came to see him. From all over India in fact, people had come to meet Swami. They didn’t believe the media and that is why they came to see him. When they talk with him, they really think of him as a god. When I asked them what they thought about what has been published in the media, they said: “We think it is really not the truth, everything bad that has been published about Swami is a lie. We know Swami well. We have been in touch with him for 20, 30 years and we have understood him well, we have understood who he is.” Since wrong things were published in the media about Swami, there are also many people who are afraid to come and see him. They had faith in Swami, but they fear that if they go to the Ashram to meet Swami, they will be arrested or so. One lady said to Swami when she met him last week: “I was really frightened to come and meet you because I was afraid somebody would come and catch me. Only now that I am here, I have discovered that everything that was published about Swamiji is a lie. I feel very sorry now because I didn’t meet Swami for the last 15 years.” Swami Premananda is a saint. He wants us to be happy, to have peace of mind, to move forward on the spiritual path and to realise who God is. For that, he spends every single minute of his life, helping all of us. Let us hope and pray that very soon everybody will know the truth about Swami Premananda! |
This world has known many great saints like Jesus, Buddha, Rama, Krishna and Mohammed. Many people have obtained peace of mind, wisdom and happiness by listening to their teachings. Jesus was crucified, but even then we all believe in Him, because we know He is a great saint.
