Yet, in spite of everything, I am very happy. I always say that I am the happiest man in jail. Why? Because I have total faith in God and I take comfort in the fact that all my life I have helped others. Not just a few, but thousands of people have come to me and received help and God's grace. I never say this is my doing. This is all God's divine work and the help they receive is all from a higher source. I am like a conduit pipe running from the Divine to the earth. Wherever I am I will always help others. This is my quality and the purpose of my life.

What is the purpose of our spiritual life? We must do our best to take up every challenge and go forward without fear but with trust in the Divine. We should fill our hearts with pure love at every opportunity. A heart and mind filled with love are the greatest assets we can have on the spiritual path. A person full of prema, divine love, has an even-mind and pleasant disposition. He makes no distinction between different people. He or she is like a child who cannot be touched by honour or dishonour, praise or blame. He is content with whatever comes to him. First you must quench your thirst from the spring of divine love and then radiate it to others. It is essential to train your youngsters in this pattern. How? First we must be kind and genuinely loving and patient with them. We should encourage them in devotional music and prayer. We must let them do such things themselves and let them experience the benefits. We can fill them with divine vibrations and then they will help the world.

Whatever your circumstances, never forget to pray. Prayer and chanting is like charging up a weak battery. Through prayer the mind reaches higher and higher to the realms of the supreme. Through prayer you can reach your true inheritance – your real wealth is your Self. If you pray regularly your mind soars and you will rise in spiritual stature. The more regular practice you do, the more elevated you become. Contact the Divine and know the Divine.

These are the very essentials of my message. They are simple but they take lifetimes of practice to make them a reality in your lives. With my help you can attain them in this birth itself. Wherever I am, it does not matter. My life and experiences may seem extreme and extraordinary, but that is the plan of the Divine. Many wise ones sent by the Divine to help the people have had such lives. Only after some time will the majority understand the meaning of my story and its message for the world.

We must live by the Truth. We should not give in to lies and corruption. We must be strong and fearless. Then only can we see and experience the Divine and others will benefit by our example of self-sacrifice.
