Swami Premananda > Teachings > Swamiji's teachings 2/2

His discourses can be delicate and subtle with finest flavour. Suddenly he will make you laugh out loud - just as spontaneously he will transform your way of thinking with one sentence… He gently strips away your illusions with love and compassion one minute, ruthlessly frank the next. His way is spontaneous, natural and practical. He talks and interacts with us like an ordinary person so that we can fell a sense of kinship with him. Many of his talks are literally transcribed in written as spoken by Swamiji in English, which is why they have the relaxed, authentic "Swamiji satsang" feeling that those who know him love so much.

Swami has time for everyone to discuss their inner feelings, hopes and spiritual ideas. He has a special gift for all - from the smallest child, to the student, the family man, the career girl, single parent… everyone, from every walk of life, from any background or country will benefit from his practical and down to earth advice. After experiencing Swami Premananda, many have discovered that they have a better appreciation of their own religions. Some gain a deeper feeling for the universality of religious experience. During his talks, Swamiji helps us to solve our problems and provokes us to glimpse that Truth that he is. He creates a great longing within and points out the way.

Swami Premananda is an enlightened one. He has arrived at that special space that he calls the Truth and is indeed a remarkable spiritual presence in our time.

"Having understood and realized the Self, I know that there is a wonderful power within me. I am using this power to uplift the suffering, the sick, the poor and, most importantly, true seekers of enlightenment. I help those who want to realize the ultimate truth and sincere aspirants who seek genuine spiritual guidance. This is the meaning and aim of my life."
