HELP young people to find genuine, lasting inner fulfilment, and peace of mind and to start out on the spiritual path. PROVIDE meeting places for youngsters to come together and express their aspirations through traditional practices such as singing devotional songs, performing abishekam (ancient ritual with water), holding satsangs (theme discussions), giving selfless service, holding workshops and cultural events. SHOW the world that life according to the ways of the divine with happiness, pure love, devotion, patience and truthfulness is a reality. “I want to remind you that you have so much power in your hearts and hands. That is the power of the Divine. God lives in each and every one of you. It is God who gives you life; it is God who gives you the power of thought. Muruga is very inspiring for young people. He is a youth who is the son of the father and mother of the universe. He represents the highest level of evolution that humanity can aspire to. He is active, noble, brave, compassionate, caring, playful and full of love. He is the embodiment of love and light and the ancient scriptures say he took birth to rid the world of negativity. He carries the Vel, a great golden spear that was gifted to him by his mother, who is the Earth Mother. The Vel is a shaft of the purest energy and power. It is the energy of youth, purity and strength. It is the spear of wisdom and knowledge through which one can change oneself.
