Purani and Purna

are names of the Divine Mother meaning She who is always full and whole, perfect and infinite, who never decays. She is the great Goddess who controls the universe and all beings are her children. We can observe wholeness in all Her creation from the seeds in nature to newborn beings. She is whole, the embodiment of perfection and She gives rise to all in existence, thus She is the origin of all and that too must be perfect. It is up to us to realize this perfection, which is in ourselves and all life. According to Sanatana Dharma, that which is whole is auspicious and of good fortune. One who bears this name needs to live up to this ultimate ideal of perfection and strive to embody it at all times in all that they do, see, hear and speak.
