Sitaram

means Lord Rama and his consort Sri Sita, unified and joined as one. Just as Shiva and Shakti join as Ardhanareshwara, so do Rama and Sita join to become Sitaram. Rama is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the power of sustenance in the Universe. Rama is the ideal of perfection in this world. He is seen as having a personality of idealistic perfection.
